Mischa Bredewold took control of the 2025 Amstel Gold Race and claimed victory. Puck Pieterse accelerated on the penultimate ascent of the Cauberg and was joined by Persico, Labous, Bredewold, and Van Dijk. With 6 kilometres to go, Van Dijk attacked, with Bredewold on her wheel. On the final climb of the Cauberg, Bredewold launched one last acceleration in a bid for victory. She never faltered and went on to win ahead of Van Dijk and Pieterse.

Record holder
Marianne Vos is the only woman so far to have won the Amstel Gold Race twice. She claimed her first victory in 2021. Kasia Niewiadoma and Elisa Longo Borghini seemed set to sprint for the win, but the duo was caught by the chasers 350 metres from the finish. Vos celebrated almost too early but still managed to beat Vollering and Van Vleuten. A similar story unfolded three years later. Wiebes seemed to take the sprint victory but celebrated too soon. Vos seized the win.
Lazer Trophy
In 2017, the women’s race of the Amstel Gold Race was organized again for the first time in several years. The race, starting in Maastricht and finishing on the Rijksweg in Berg en Terblijt, guarantees a tough and challenging course. Each year, a trophy is awarded to the most combative rider of the Amstel Gold Race Women Elite, made possible by sponsor Lazer.
