Book Leo van Vliet 'Ken niet bestaat niet'
The 60th edition of the Amstel Gold Race on Sunday, 19 April will also mark the 30th and final edition with Leo van Vliet as race director of the Dutch classic. To mark his retirement, a biography about his remarkable life will be released: from professional cyclist to entrepreneur to race director.
“Ken niet bestaat niet” is the title of the book, which offers a unique insight into many aspects of cycling. Through anecdotes and photos, the book highlights the remarkable character and determination of Leo van Vliet, while also showing the evolution the Amstel Gold Race has undergone over the past three decades under his leadership.

- Friday 17 April from 12:00 - 20:00 at the Amstel stand at the Shimano Experience Center in Valkenburg
- Sunday 19 April from 8:30 - 11:15 at the Amstel stand at the start of the Amstel Gold Race on the Markt in Maastricht
